Gamora and Nebula reunited with Thanos on a Q-Ship and were informed that he was preparing to send them to the Dark Aster under the orders of Ronan the Accuser to get the Power Stone. Gamora witnesses Nebula's neural drive glitching From two different times." ―Gamora and Thanos After fatally wounding High Evolutionary and rescuing his test subjects, Gamora departed from the Guardians and made amends with Quill before she returned to her position among the Ravagers. As the Guardians headed to Counter-Earth in order to confront High Evolutionary, Gamora joined the Guardians and fought alongside them. Peter Quill, the lover of her alternate self, kept attempting to trigger a relationship with her, much to her irritation. Three years later, Gamora reunited with Nebula and the Guardians of the Galaxy and aided them in infiltrating OrgoCorp in order to save Rocket Raccoon's life. After watching Thanos and his army turn to dust, Gamora, now stranded in a different universe than her own, left Earth and joined the United Ravagers. Gamora then turned against him, helping the Avengers and their allies to defeat him. Acting upon the obtained intelligence, Thanos brought his armies through the Multiverse from his reality to the Avengers' prime timeline.
In her timeline, the Time Heist orchestrated by the Avengers who had come from a different reality inadvertently enabled Gamora and Thanos to learn how the future could unfold. So I made a second copy of the sword using a thicker piece of cardboard and with the cardboard "grain" following the long direction of the sword, but slightly off (about 30 degrees) so it had strength in both directions. This resulted in the sword being weak length-wise and prone to flexing and bending. My initial cardboard draft I cut was out the the "grain" of the cardboard perpendicular to the long axis of the sword. There are some pretty small details, especially the center channel of the sword that required patience. These couple of pieces needed to have two copies made (one of each for each side of the sword.)Īll pieces of cardboard were cut out using an Xacto blade.
There are also a couple of other smaller pieces that are hear the handle of the sword where the sword is thicker and has some detail and design. I found some artwork and printed it on a transparency film, then projected it on the wall where I had taped a piece of cardboard and traced the image onto the cardboard after I had adjusted the image to the desired size - about 2'.
